It starts with capture of your video source. We can accept all forms of both analog and digital tape formats including D1,D2, D5, Digi-Beta, and even HD formats. We will then encode your master(s) into Mpeg-2 format, transfered at the highest constant bit rate with hardware.
We will then meet with the client to discuss what their needs are. Still menu, moving menu,buttons, interactivity, special features, etc. Anything that the client can dream up we can create.We accept all artwork for the client authored main page in Jpeg/Tiff format (all artwork should be 300 dpi or higher for appropriate resolution standards), which can be e-mailed or sent on CDR, whichever the client prefers. Our designers here at Post Digital Services will then createa proof page for the client to preview and make any necessary adjustments or changes to anything from color correction to score timing for the music overlay of the page.
How many hours it takes to create a specific project is predicated on how many re-visions, or add-ons are done, how much material is supplied by the client, & how complicated the project is from the outset. We will make as accurate an estimate as possible with the exception of larger more involved jobs being billed weekly, up to and through completion of project. All finished DVD's that have been authored will be tested for correct interactivity within the given menu of that particular authored DVD. A proof disc may be obtained by client before final completion and output of mastered/authored DVD.
